We all extend a warm welcome to you from Brockenhurst C of E Primary School.

Any new Governor is faced with a great deal to learn all at once. An induction booklet is designed to give a new governor a brief overview to assist them in their first few weeks as a Governor at our school. It does not take the place of support willingly given by the Chair, the Head Teacher and the Governing Body.

Governors generally bring a wide range of skills and experiences to the schools they serve and play an important part in its success. Governors work best when they work as a team for the benefit of the school acting as a corporate body and accepting decisions agreed by the whole body.

Governors at most schools have an excellent relationship with the Head Teacher and staff; and Brockenhurst C of E Primary School is no exception.
