Our vision for Music:

Our music curriculum aims to delivery high quality music throughout the key stages with musical experimentation at its heart. Our hands-on approach allows all children to develop and build upon key skills whilst looking at a particular musical dimension (for example texture, structure, duration, pitch). We also look closely at performance and shaping music through observation and reflection. We ensure that through Hampshire Music Service provision, we are giving the children practical, hands-on experience. This allows children to investigate, ask questions and support their skill development.

Each year group follows their own long term unit plans from Hampshire Music Service and this covers the National Curriculum.
