Good afternoon,

It was great to see so many of you at the Swanage meeting this evening. I will attach the PowerPoint for anyone who was unable to come. If you have any questions in the meantime, please do not hesitate to get in touch. 

The children have been making great progress with their maths this week. We have completed our unit on place value and will move on to working with the four operations next week. The children have demonstrated a really secure understanding of place value, including rounding numbers and comparing and ordering numbers.

In English, the children have used drama this week to understand the story and to help them to predict what could happen next.

We have started a new topic in art where we will be using the coastal scenery as inspiration for our work.
