Hi all, 

We had our first rehearsal in front of KS2 today and it went brilliantly. I can tell the children have been working hard to practise their lines, and they were taking responsibility for making sure they were on stage at the right point and using good volume. The challenge for next week is to practise changing microphones for different characters!

We have continued our unit on the book 'Wonder' and looking at extracts from 'The Eighteenth Emergency' by Betsy Byars. The children have planned and have started writing their own chapters with similar themes of overcoming bullies as these books. 

In maths, the children have been exploring profit and loss, and this will hopefully help them with their stalls at the Summer Fete. 

In Geography, we have started learning about rivers, understanding the different parts of a river which we will apply to rivers in our locality.
