Good afternoon,

Year 6 have been absolutely amazing this week! They worked exceptionally hard on their SATs papers, and we couldn't be prouder of them.  It was lovely having them all in for breakfast and they've been so supportive to each other, showing great teamwork. They received a class 'recognition leaf' in our celebration worship, recognising their determination and resilience this week. A huge thank you to all parents and families for your support this week too!

They are very excited about the announcement of this year's KS2 production of 'The Wizard of Oz'. They will be coming home today with some character extracts from the script which they can practise over the weekend if they wish. We will be auditioning next week and will aim to give our scripts and parts before half-term. 

This week the children have also completed their artwork inspired by Victoria Villosana, and they look brilliant on display in the Year 6 classroom. They have also been creating their own 'Horrible Histories' style pages about everything they have learnt to do with Ancient Sumer, which they will complete next week.
