Good afternoon,

Year 6 have had another busy week! First of all a huge well done to all of the children on writing some fantastic persuasive letters to Mr Littlewood, persuading him to let them go on another school trip! The children should have come home with the letters today.

In English this week we have started a new book which was written by Stephen Hawking and his daughter Lucy called 'George's Secret Key to the Universe'. The children have been enjoying the book so far and have written some fantastic setting descriptions based on the text. 

In Maths, we have been trying to work out the common theme with numbers when answering questions in morning maths, and we have also been looking at budgets, which we will continue next week. 

In Geography we are continuing our Rivers topic and in Art we will be starting a new topic next week exploring some of Vincent Van Gogh's work.

Reminder: The first Forest School group's sessions are now on a Friday so please encourage them to remember their clothing.
