Good afternoon,

Y6 have written the most amazing time-slip stories this week as part of our English topic linked to the book 'Heroes'. It was a real pleasure reading these through, seeing how hard the children have worked on them.  The children had to come up with a plot, write an engaging opening, finding a way of transporting their character back in time to The Blitz, before writing a setting description of the scene they arrive in. They came up with such creative ideas with some fantastic language was being used!

In Maths, the children have been working on Geometry, thinking about the angles within a triangle. We have also explored pie charts and answered questions about these. 

As part of our Computing lessons, the children are working towards doing some video editing. They have been planning their videos today and will work towards making these in future lessons.
