Yr 6 - Message to Parents and Children
Dear All,
It will be half term next week and I will not be setting work for this period.
I will set work again on the 2nd June. This will take the form of the previous work but instead of loading it daily I will attempt to load it on the Tuesday for the week. I will then check Google Classroom once a day (at the end of the day) in respect of any learning queries arising and attempt to respond to these each day.
I have all my fingers and toes crossed that we will be opening up on the 2nd June and look forward to seeing many of you then.
Please be assured that it is not right for your family to return on the 2nd June that I will look at a way of connecting those children with the class, Mrs Martin and myself and of course I will provide online learning every week. I will also be working with secondary schools on their revised transition events. I will also be undertaking transition activities in the coming month to take account of the fact that the children may not get to visit the school before September to familiarise them with the layout of their school.
For those that are returning on the 2nd June please do not worry about school shoes, any form of trainers will be far more practical. Please check Mr Littlewood's letter for other details on what to bring/wear.
We will not be able to access the Library during the day but if you would like to return your library books (on Thursday 4th June) then I will dedicate a box for you to return them to you and will bring all the Year 6 books into the classrooms to allow you to access new books in a safe way. Special requests can me made to your bubble teacher.
I hope you all have a lovely half term.
Kind regards
Mrs Hudson
