Dear parents and carers,

This week we started studying our new world religion of Islam. We looked at the five pillars of faith prayer, fasting, charity and pilgrimage. 

In science we started our new topic on space. We began by learning about the solar system and the planets within it.

To start our mountain unit in geography, we located the major mountain regions of the world. The children created a far more detailed definition than the one we found in the dictionary!

We continue our fraction work in maths looking at improper and mixed fractions. 

Reminder, our PE days have not changed so children require PE kit on a Wednesday and Thursday each week.
