Dear parents and carers,

We have had another very busy week in Year 5. The children are enjoying their Monday library session in the beautiful new library. On Wednesday for this half-term they have a 1 hour music session with Mr.Thomas. This week they used chromebooks to create musical palindromes.

In geography we further secured our locational knowledge of the world and next week we will be looking at why Iceland has so few trees.

We have started our new text drivers in guided reading and writing. In reading we are looking at The Travel book and in writing we are studying Wild is the Wind.

In French the children have been learning and practising greetings.
