Dear parents and carers,

We were really impressed with Year 5 and their enthusiasm for becoming Eco Warriors in liaison with Greener Brockenhurst. It is obviously something that resonates with a lot of them.

On Monday your child will need their outdoor PE kit in school as they are having a taster session with Rippa Rugby, organised by Miss Michael. 

The children observed a two minutes silence to remember the sacrifices made to defend freedom for us today.

In D&T the children made simple musical instruments to practise building structures that can make a sound. This is in preparation for making a working percussion instrument.  Next week they will be designing the instrument.

In science we learnt about soluble and insoluble and tested different materials to see if they dissolved into a solution.
