Dear parents and carers,

We have had a wonderful first week back with the children.

Today the Christmas card artwork was sent home with your child. Instructions were included on these can be ordered. This week the children have also drawn their fact for the class PTA tea towels. On Monday, the classroom was full of block paint and polystyrene tiles for the children's final mono-print piece of artwork in this unit. You may have seen examples on our instagram feed.

We have started our new writing unit, The Man on the Wire, and our new reading unit from Blackberry Blue. 

In maths, we have started work on our fractions unit. The children enjoyed turning number lines into chocolate bars!

We also started our new design and technology unit - structures. We would really appreciate any donations of, washed margarine or butter pots, plastic bottles with ridges, plastic food containers, biscuit tins, carrier bags and old buttons.
