Round up of the week.

Maths

We have been learning about shapes , symmetry and angles (acute, right angles and obtuse). The children were fantastic with a protractor and drawing their own angles.

English

We have been looking at story writing this week using the stimulus of a short film. I was very impressed with the stories that the children have produced. We have also practised dictionary skills and using a zone of relevance to evaluate language that we use in description.

Science

We have been making our own jackets to put round our water bottles to evaluate what materials create the most warmth.
