We have had a great week! Our highlight has to be the Brockenhurst Danceathon! This has become an annual event and something that we all look forward to. We have spent the past 5 weeks learning dance in PE and have used this to work in house teams and create our own dances. We then came to together as a school to celebrate dance and take part in a house competition! I have to say I am incredibly proud of all of Year 4. They were creative, supportive, resilient and confident! They performed brilliantly and it was a terrific morning.

In other news this week, we have written and published our pages for our own ‘We Travel So Far’ book. These have been used to create a display in our corridor. As you can see from the picture on this post, the children carefully considered how the layout adds impact to their writing. They have also illustrated them beautifully!

In maths, we have been looking at multiplying a two digit number by a one digit number. We have used information methods and ensured our place value knowledge is secure when exchanging. We have today moved onto formal written methods which will continue after half term.
