We have had a great week in year 4. The sun has been shining, and we enjoyed our first athletics session on the field. We also made the most of the nice weather and spent our Golden Time on the field too.

In other news this week, we have been focussing on paragraphs in English. We have explored the structure of a paragraph and then unscrambled paragraphs to put them in the right order. The class then wrote their own paragraphs ensuring they were cohesive.

In maths, we started this week by multiplying three numbers. The class did a fantastic job applying their knowledge of times tables. They worked efficiently and applied their knowledge to a range of problem solving tasks. We then moved onto measurement at the end of the week. The class looked at area. They calculated the total are and compared the area of a range of different shapes.
