We have had a great week in year 4.

In English, we have continued to explore our class text, ‘Leon and the Place Between’. The class have looked at the vocabulary and structure of the book and written their own descriptions for one section of story. They did brilliantly and worked hard to make some excellent vocabulary choices to help build a picture.

In maths we have been converting from an analogue clock to digital. We started looking at the 12 hour clock and then moved onto 24 hours. I am very impressed with year 4’s effort with this area of learning. Converting time can be a challenge and we have seen great resilience across the week. This will help to continue to build confidence in this area of learning.

In art this week we were inspired by a fictional story about building treehouses. We used the imagery to help us draw our own treehouses. I was very impressed with their creativity and precision when drawing and the outcome looked fantastic!
