Hello everyone,

We have had a great day today, learning about who the Anglo-Saxons were, where they came from and what was important to them. The children had to do some detective work as well as creating their own Anglo-Saxon jewellery. 

As part of our History topic, we have also started studying the book 'Anglo Saxon Boy' in our English lessons. We have started by getting to know some of the characters and will continue with this unit next week. 

In Maths, we have carried on recapping our times tables, in preparation for next week where we will be multiplying 2 digit numbers and then 3 digit numbers by a single digit number. As it was International Maths day on the 14th March, we celebrated this as a school on Thursday by exploring the theme 'Maths is Everywhere'.
