This week we have been busy in maths looking at angles and the properties of triangles and quadrilaterals. We have learnt lots of new vocabulary and have had to be real problem solvers to figure out what a shape is depending on its properties but the children have worked really hard.

In English, we have been writing our own information pages on ‘The Pet Care of a Dragon’. The children have typed this up, practising their computer skills as well and this has been a good way to culminate our How to Train Your Dragon unit.

We were lucky enough to have a visit from the school puppy this week – Luna! The children were excited but made sure they were really calm so that they did not scare her.

Homework

The homework that was set on Spelling Shed and Mathletics this week has a two week deadline so that you can either complete on the days that we are still at school or if you’d prefer to, you can complete it over half term. There is no additional half term homework but it would be lovely to hear the children talking about a new favourite book if you have any time for reading!
