Round up of the week.
Maths
We have finished off learning about multiplication with the 9 times tables and multiplying by 1 and 0. We have begun learning to divide by 10 to create a decimals. We have also looked at the relationship between decimals and fractions (1/10th’s)
English
We have this week started to look at the Aswan Dam as a flood defence system. We have compared it to the Thames Barrier and written a newspaper article detailing the building of the Dam. We have also debated the value of the Dam given some of the negative consequences of its build.
Science
We have explored shadows in the form of shadow puppets.
PE Kits
Please can we ensure that PE Kits are in every day to allow the children to be able to undertake it each day.
