Year 3

Friday Blog - Thursday 3rd April
Good afternoon everyone,
We had a lovely time at the church on Wednesday for our Easter Service. The singing was loud and joyful, as I'm sure you'll agree if you were able to join us there. Our Worship Ambassadors did a fantastic job, helping to retell the story of Holy week and saying prayers at the end.
The children are very excited to be bringing home their geraniums today. They were tiny seedlings when they first planted them and have doubled in size already. They might need repotting and protecting from frosts for a bit longer, but should be able to be out in the garden soon. Please could you take a photo when it flowers and send it in to me - the children will get a small prize if they manage to look after the plant and get it to the flowering stage!
Also, as part of our art work after Easter, the children will use a baby photo in their drawing lesson. Please could you email me a photo of your child as a tiny baby and I can then print it out, as we will be cutting them up.
The weather is looking great for our walk tomorrow. Please make sure your child has a hat, sun cream applied and plenty of water for the day.
Have a fantastic Easter break,
Clare
