Good afternoon everyone,

I hope you were impressed by your child's sculpture that they have brought home today. We were inspired by the monochrome botanical artist Paul Morrison. The children have really enjoyed this topic and have produced some stunning pieces of art - well done to them all.

We had a fantastic time at the church yesterday. We found out exactly how and why Christians celebrate Easter. Simon took the children on a tour of the church to explain Holy Week to them. We picnicked in the church and then had a great run around outside before finishing off our mini-trip with some Easter and Spring creative activities. The children were all well-behaved, listening carefully and asking some thoughtful questions. Many thanks to Mel and Simon for supporting our learning  in this topic.

Another busy week ahead of us with our Easter Service on Wednesday, we hope you can join us at the church for that, and our whole school walk on Friday - let's hope the sun keeps shining!
