Happy New Year to you all. I managed to make it until Friday before I made a mistake with the date! The children have come back to school well-rested and full of tales about the fun they have had at Christmas.

We started a new book this week - The Mousehole Cat by Antonia Barber. The children have loved it! We have been watching the harbour at Mousehole via a live webcam which has had them all fascinated. The website for this is:

I promised the children I would share it as they all want to have a look at Mousehole in the dark. The story is about a winter of storms and we keep watching in the hope of seeing some stormy seas and huge waves.

The children are very excited about swimming, which starts next Tuesday. The children need their swimming costumes, towels and goggles (if they want them) in a bag to take with them. They do not need anything else. I will remind them all again on Monday!
