It was lovely to see all the children dressed in red today, although that is what they are usually dressed in! Thank you for all your donations for Comic Relief too.

In English we have started to read Wolves by Emily Gravett. We weren't sure at first whether it was fiction or non-fiction, but once we looked at the illustrations we realised what a funny story it is. We have written alternative endings today, and I'm afraid that the Wolf ended up dead in most of the children's writing.

In Maths we have started working with fractions.  The children have all worked hard this week and ended today feeling confident about this subject.

In Science we started investigations into how seeds will grow best. The children decided what to plant their seeds in. We are watching and waiting to see the results.
