Good evening everyone,

We had another fantastic week in Year 3. We have continued our work around It Starts with a Seed. The children are in the middle of writing their final poems, which we hope to publish in a class anthology.

In maths, we've continued our unit on length and measure. We have practised converting between different units of measure, alongside adding and subtracting lengths.

In science, we had a great afternoon repotting some tiny seedlings. We are hoping to use what we know about plants to keep them alive and thriving. We set up our green house, but luckily didn't pop our plants in it, as the wind blew it all around the playground! Let's hope we have better luck with the weather this week.

I've posted this on Sunday evening as a quick reminder that we are off to the church tomorrow to talk to Mel and Simon about how Easter is celebrated by Christians. We are having our lunch there, so don't forget your packed lunch!
