Good afternoon everybody,

The children couldn't believe it earlier when we were talking about coming to half term. We realised that we were half way through our time together in Year 3. 'It's gone so quickly', one of them said. Time flies when you're having fun!

We certainly had fun on Wednesday afternoon for our favourite ever science lesson. We firstly looked at whether different types of chocolate had different melting points. Our investigation measured which chocolate button would melt the quickest. Our second experiment looked at where a button would melt the quickest - in our hands or in our mouths!  We talked about how to make sure we carried out a fair test and how errors can occur.

Yesterday was our annual danceathon. I was so proud of all the children as, despite some nerves, they were all able to take part. A huge well done to them all. It was great fun and we all got up at the end for a boogey to one of our favourite songs.

We are also half way through our swim sessions - 5 done, 5 to go. The children were brilliant in the water this week and quick changers too (although the girls always manage to beat the boys!!!)
