February has arrived with some hopeful days of early spring sunshine, which the children have enjoyed. It was lovely to see the children in their own clothes today and a big thank you to everyone who came in with their donation for the Children's Air Ambulance. We all learnt about the work of this charity during our worship today.

We have had a big focus on our times tables recently and are practising them a lot in class. All the children should have come home with a times table fluency card to practise at home. we check them in school every week. When your child knows the card off by heart, we will move them up to the next one. Your help practising at home is appreciated. The children can also use times table rock stars. The expectation is for the children to know their 10s, 2s, 5s, (which were taught last year), 3s, 4s and 8 times tables - off by heart by the end of Year 3!

Another great week in the pool, particularly for my non-swimmers who are gaining confidence every week - well done to them.
