Good afternoon everyone,

We have started a new book in English this week, called The Night Box by Louise Greig. Alongside this, we have listened to and read a poem called Last night I Saw the City Breathing by Andrew Fusek-Peters.  We have looked at the language choices made by the authors and had a go at using some similar language to write descriptions of either the city or the countryside at night.

Group 2 have managed  a bit of catch up, having 2 Forest school sessions this week. The other half of the class tried out their skills with watercolours and painted some fantastic robins.

Just to let you know that we are moving our book change day to Wednesday. Library change will stay as Tuesday. Please make sure that you sign and date your child's reading record every time you hear them read. Many thanks to our parent volunteers who come in each week to hear readers.
