Good evening everyone,

We have been looking at the 'fabulous animile' above, that comes from an old book of poems about imagined creatures. Before we have even read the poem, the children have managed to write their own group poems about this curious creature, which they published and performed. They are looking forward to finding out what the creature is called and hearing the poem next week.

In maths we have focussed on column subtraction. The children have learnt how to exchange from the tens or from the hundreds to allow them to successfully subtract any 3 digit number. They have all shown resilience in their learning and their confidence had grown by the end of the week.

A last minute reminder to order your Christmas cards, if you haven't already done so - the shop closes at midnight tonight.
