There are several parts to our homework, and this is set on Thursday and should be completed by the following the Wednesday. We have practised logging in to these sites in class this week, details are located in the back of your child's reading diary.
Homework includes;
- Reading
- Ed Shed (spelling, maths and phonics)
- TT Rockstars
Reading
‘Get Caught Reading’ Please provide a photo of your child reading in their special place or in an unusual place. This will create a wonderful display in our book corner. Please email them to r.platt@brockenhurst-primary.hants.sch.uk or send them in with your child.
Thank you so much for the photos I have already received. They are great.
Try to read with your child at least 3 times a week, little and often can really make a difference. We will continue to work on comprehension, inferencing skills.
Ed Shed
Which includes; Spelling Shed, Maths Shed and Phonics Shed
Spelling Shed
Spelling Shed is linked to what we teach your child in class. Children have a minimum of 3 games to complete each week.
Maths Shed
Assignments will be set depending on the work we have been doing in class or skills your child needs to develop further.
Phonics Shed
There are many exciting and fun games which will further support your child with their reading and writing skills. Please explore these.
TT Rock stars
TT Rock stars focus on the timetables that the children are working on in class, at the moment we are working on our 4s.
