We have had a wonderful week getting to know each other, sharing what we did over the summer and learning new routines.  The children had some fantastic ideas when creating our class charter, we discussed how to be kind, responsible and safe in the classroom and around school. Great job Snow Leopards! 

In Literacy, we are started reading 'Stone Age Boy' using our prediction and inferencing skills to talk about the characters and our own experiences of caves. The children loved our guided tour drama session through the cave!  

In Maths, we have been recapping our place value knowledge, thinking about our base 10 representations and problem-solving skills. We will continue to practise our reasoning skills through problem-solving tasks.  

Our P.E. days will be on Tuesday and Friday, ensure your child has their kit. Thank you.  

Please continue to read at home, we encourage your  child to read at least three times a week.
