Hello,

We are really proud of the children this week, they have been writing stories based on ‘Lila and the Rain’ and have really focussed on handwriting and spelling – well done Foxes!

In science we have been learning all about exercise and the effect it has on our bodies. The children checked their pulses before and after exercise to see the difference.

In guided reading we have been reading a book called the ‘Emperors’ Egg’ all about Emperor Penguins.

The children are also getting ready for the Brockenhurst Dance Off and are choreographing their dances in PE.

In Art we have been creating landscapes by blending with pastels.

Spellings this week have concentrated on words where the ‘n’ sound is made with ‘kn’ and ‘gn’ – knight, knot, gnat, gnome.
