Hello,

What a pleasure it was to take the children to the Sea City Museum in Southampton. They were beautifully behaved at every point and very sensible on the train. It was a very exciting and informative day!  

In maths we have been learning to add two 2 digit numbers together not crossing ten eg 34 + 23 and crossing ten 36 + 28. 

For our guided reading we have been learning to use a glossary in a non-fiction book to help understand word meanings.

Christmas has arrived in Years 1 and 2 as we have started our Nativity rehearsals! Your child will bring home a letter about costumes – please let us know if you need any help with this. We really appreciate your help with providing costumes.
