Hello,

This week the children have published their books based on the Blue Penguin and shared them with Year 1. They had great fun being authors!

In Maths, we have been counting in 2s, 5s, 10s and 3s forwards and backwards.

In Science, we investigated which rocks are the crumbliest and found that chalk was the softest rock and gemstones the hardest.

We have learnt the tricky words through, improve, move, prove, shoe, two, who and beautiful in phonics this week.

For PE we have been learning ball skills, rolling, catching and throwing.

We have been talking about acts of caring and kindness and things we can do to help others, the environment and ourselves. 

Don't forget we are accepting Harvest Festival donations in School.
