This week has flown by!

In English we have started our new book Lila and the Secret of Rain. We have been exploring the main characters feelings and also have being learning about suffixes.

In maths Penguins have been working hard to secure their knowledge of equal groups and are able to make and add them along with writing repeated addition sentences.

In geography we have compared our school to a school in Kampong Ayer, in science we have made predictions about which liquids would make the slippiest slide (we will be testing this next week) and in PE we have continued practicing for our danceathon next week.

This week a group of children also got the opportunity to cook with some of Penguin's parents. The kitchen smelt amazing after they had cooked lots of cheese scones! By the time the Easter holidays arrive each child will have completed two cooking sessions. A huge thank you to the parents who have organised this, set it up and are volunteering throughout the sessions - it wouldn't be possible without you!
