It has been so lovely to chat to lots of you at parents evening this week! We are so proud of all the children - they have settled into Year 2 amazingly and have worked incredibly hard this term. They are all superstars! 

In English this week we have written our instructions for bath time at home! Penguins have included loads of detail in these and they have made us smile too! In maths we have been adding one digit numbers to two digit numbers - although this was a little tricky to start with Penguins are now amazing at it!

We have also finished our Chance to Shine cricket sessions and our Frozen Planet art unit with the children making 3D Penguins on collage backgrounds.

Thank you very much for all your ongoing support with your child's learning at home. If any of you have a spare morning or afternoon each week to come in and hear the children read that would be amazing!

We hope you all have a brilliant half term filled with lots of fun adventures and we can't wait to see the children after the holidays!
