It has been another lovely week in Penguin class!

In maths we have finished our unit on adding and subtracting 2, 2 digit numbers learning how to use these skills to problem solve. 

In English we have been learning about prefixes and suffixes specifically 'un' and 'ful' and in guided reading we have been exploring The Emperor's Egg which is a non-fiction text about penguins.

In science we went on a walk around school exploring what materials are made of and in geography we have been comparing our weather with the weather in Kampong Ayer. We have also continued our Jigsaw PSHE sessions with the children focusing on working as part of a team and also being able to identify who they work well with.
