Year 2

I am so proud of everyone in Penguin (and Koala) class for performing their nativity amazingly! They have been praticing non-stop since half-term and I am sure you will agree all their hard work definitely paid off! Penguins give yourselves a huge marshmellow clap with lots of whooshes too!
Thank you for all your support with the nativity too from helping the children learn their lines, creating amazing costumes and coming to be a brilliant audience - we couldn’t do it without you!
Aside from our nativity performances we have been learning about rhyming words in English based on our stimulus Snow and in guided reading we have explored the Christmas film Lily and the Snowman. In maths we have continued our work on shapes and have also started some work on patterns and position. We have also designed a healthy meal in science and been examining picture evidence to identify why the loss of life on the Titanic was so great.
Have a lovely festive weekend and I will see you next week...I can't believe it's the last week of the Autumn term!
Miss Michael :)
