Welcome to Year 2!

Both I and Mrs Nixon are very excited to be welcoming your child into Year 2 next week.

We have lots of fun activities planned for to settle them in.

I will issue them with reading books next week and once classroom routines are established I will commence homework (reading, spelling, maths, keywords if not completed). I will confirm the details of this at the time.

In the meanwhile if you could read with your child daily that this will help them immensely.

Please can I ask that have their PE kits with them on Monday and a pair of wellies to keep at school for the term (if you have a spare pair at home).
