We have had a lovely last week together in year 2. We have written a recount of our trip to Longdown and used the computers to write letters to Mr Wilcox. We have also had fun playing some different maths games, including multiplication snakes and ladders.

I can’t quite believe that the year has come to an end – although we are all looking forward to a rest! We have had an absolutely fantastic year teaching your children. The class have coped amazingly well with COVID rules/routines and online learning, and have remained positive throughout. We have made so many fantastic memories together, even through lockdown with our live lessons!  Your children are all amazing and have worked so so hard this year and had lots of fun too. They are an excellent team and look out for one another, which is just lovely. They are now ready for year 3 and we just know they will be brilliant and have lots of fun. I will be just next door keeping a close eye!

We are completely overwhelmed and grateful for the wonderful messages, cards and extremely generous gifts. We loved the video too! Your words and kindness mean the world to us and we want to say a huge THANK YOU to you all. Your support throughout the whole year has been amazing. It has been a real privilege working with your children this year.

I hope you all have a brilliant summer. We look forward to seeing you in September.
