Dear Parents
We have been practising hard for the Nativity this week. We are performing it in St Saviours next Friday afternoon and we look forward to seeing you there.
This week we have been learning:
English
We have started reading "Big Bear Little Brother" and looking at the pictures and text to support our views on the feelings of the characters.
Maths
We have been looking at notes and coins up to £50 and the children have been adding and counting money, choosing different coins to make the same amounts.
Science
We have been looking at the strength of different papers and predicting which will be the strongest/weakest.
If you have any queries please do get in contact.
Kind regards
Justina Hudson
Dear Parents,
I apologise for the absence of blog posts over the past few weeks. Unfortunately the update to the computer system resulted in my account being blocked accessing the site.
You will have seen in your child's reading diary today that we have glued your child's log on details for Ed Shed. We have commenced the Year 2 spelling programme this week and I have assigned tasks for your child to undertake at home linked to those words.
This spelling homework is in addition to reading and athletics
Kind regards
Justina
Year 2 footballers, I am very sorry but tomorrow's football tournament at Priestlands is cancelled as we are unable to get transport to the event. There will be future events in which your children will be competing in.
Regards
Mr Wilcox
