Hello,

It was lovely to see so many of you enjoying Sports Day. The children had a great time, it is definitely one of the highlights of the year!

In Maths, we were looking at quarters of objects and quarters of numbers and the children have practised putting objects into four equal groups.

For English, the children wrote poems about the seaside - using expanded noun phrases, thinking of words to describe being at the beach.

In phonics we have revised ph - in phone, g - in giant.

We finished our Science experiment today and discovered that cress seeds need water to grow and water and light to thrive. They have taken their cress home to make sandwiches!
