Hello,

We have had fun reading and discussing our favourite poems. The children have been looking at the features of poems and will be writing their own poems about the seaside.

In maths we are finding half and quarter of objects and amounts – and checking that half is 2 equal amounts and quarter is 4 equal amounts.

In art the children were sewing and decorating felt fish. We are so proud of the way they persevered and mastered this tricky skill, the fish look wonderful!

For phonics revision we have looking at ‘u’ in unicorn, ‘I’ in tiger, and ‘a’ in paper.

Science was very exciting, we are growing cress seeds and experimenting to see what a seed needs to grow and thrive.

We have been getting ready for sports day and look forward to seeing you next Thursday afternoon. Please make sure the children have all of their PE kit in school.
