This week in English we have been creating our own maps for a Midsummer Nights Dream and designing our own fairies. We have written about them using beautiful descriptive language and lots of different suffixes.

In maths we have been comparing different weights, lengths and capacity. We have been talking about objects using words such as heavier, lighter, longer, shorter, etc.

We have focussed on phonics for the last few weeks. For those of you who attended the meeting on Thursday, you will already have access to the resources given out. For those of you who were unable to attend, please find the resources in your child's book bag this evening.
