This week in maths we have been learning our number bonds to 10 and 20. We have been finding the fact families that go with them, for example: 8+2=10,  2+8=10,  10-2=8,  10-8=2. To help your child at home, please go over the number bonds to 10 and 20 so that they can recall them rapidly without working them out.

In English this week we have been planning a story about an alien, based on our class book: Man on the Moon. To help your child at home, please recap on writing in sentences using finger spaces, full stops, capital letters and joined up writing. 

On a different note, could you please make sure that your child has their PE kit in school every day and that it is clearly labelled with their name. We currently have PE on Thursday and Friday, however PE kits need to be in school every day in case there is a change or an addition to the timetable. Many thanks.
