Another busy week in Badger class - 

Writing this week has been slightly different as we started by writing about when we made porridge last week and labelling our photos. I have been so impressed with their writing - it is getting more and more creative and the children are applying their phonics independently. 

We have been reading 'The Little Red Hen' and the children have enjoyed lots of lovely activities linked to the book. 

In maths, we have been exploring capacity and mass. The children have spent lots of time outside and have enjoyed measuring using the scales and measuring jugs. I am always so impressed by how quickly they remember and retain the key words they are taught and use them within their sentences. 

In our RE learning, we have continued with the topic 'stories Jesus told us' We have been thinking about our favourite stories, have drawn pictures of the front covers and discussed what makes a good story teller. 

In our art activity today, Badger class enjoyed making a model of a Little Red Hen. 

Hopefully you all saw my messagw on Tapestry - we will now be visiting the library on a Monday.
