We have had a lovely week in Badger Class.

Continuing of our theme of baking and traditional tales, we have been reading the Gingerbread man. We have enjoyed all of the activities linked to this story, especially our science experiment with a real Gingerbread man!

We have also continued to take part in activities linked to Goldilocks and the Three Bears, including writing a sorry letter from Goldilocks and making porridge.

In maths, we have been focusing on one more and one less.

In writing, we have been writing recipes to make porridge which we followed today to make our own porridge.

In Drawing Club, we have been reading ‘The Little Red Hen’. Our drawings were of our favourite character and of a new character that we would like to introduce to the farmyard. The key vocabulary was; concocting, baking, ingredients and collaborating. This will be our new book next week. 

In Music with Mr Thomas, Badger class have started their new topic of ‘Dragon Dance’ to celebrate Chinese New Year.
