Year R
Friday 11th October 2024
We have had a busy week in Badger Class.
In Drawing Club, we have been reading the story of Hansel and Gretel.
In RE this half term, we have been thinking about what is important to us and our friends. Yesterday, we started to unpick what is important to Christians. We talked about St Saviours Church and then had great fun colouring churches and building churches in the construction area.
In Music with Mr Thomas, the children have been looking at the book "Rosies Walk". They have been coming up with sounds to accompany the story and it sounds great!

Next week, we will be starting a junk modelling project. If you have any recycling (boxes, plastic bottles, lids, cardboard, loo roll tubes), it would be great if we could use it for our junk modelled vehicles. Thank you.
I have sent the children home with their tricky words today. These are to be practised at school and at home so please bring the pot in the children's bags to school each day.
On Wednesday, we will be going to New Park Farm to plant some trees. We will go on a mini bus and we will be there for approximately an hour. Please can children bring in a waterproof coat and we will wear our wellies.
Have a lovely weekend,
Miss Prichard
