We have had a lovely week in Badger class. 

Thank you for sending in lots of recycling. On Monday, we enjoyed sorting them into groups depending on their material and properties. We were very good at describing the materials and thinking of different uses each material has. 

We then used the recycling to make excellent houses. On Tuesday, we designed them and added labels, thinking  carefully about the best materials and shapes for each part of the house. Then, on Wednesday and Thursday, we really enjoyed working in groups to create them. I was amazed by all of the creative ideas that Badger class came up with - I'd definitely ask them to design my house and garden! 

In our writing sessions, we have been coming up with reasons why it is important to recycle and how we can look after our environment by throwing rubbish in the right bins and not littering. Badger class transferred these ideas into posters and they should be very proud of them.
