We have had a lovely week with lots of excitement about our caterpillars!  They have now made their cocoons and we have been regularly updating our caterpillar diaries that we are writing. 

In maths, we have been working on our spatial awareness and visualising and building maps. We have been using maps to help us in the construction area and looking at different kind of maps to describe positions. 

We have also been learning to count in 2s. We have really enjoyed using the different resources to help us solve some really tricky problems!

Following on from our work on lines of symmetry, we have created a painting of a butterfly in our art lessons this week. We used our drawing and painting skills for this picture, and they look absolutely fantastic (and symmetrical)! 

We are spending lots of time outside and as the sun is shining, please can we remember our hats! Thank you.
