In Badger class this week, we have been very interested to come in each day and check on the progress of our caterpillars. It has been great to observe them and notice how they are changing. We have done some fantastic writing and drawing on the caterpillar life cycle.
In maths, we have been focussing on repeating patterns. We are very confident in this and have been challenging ourselves to create more complex patterns.
In Forest School, Miss Jones explained to Badgers about lines of symmetry. This has then linked very nicely to our topic of butterflies and patterns and we have spent lots of time this week talking about symmetry and attempting to draw symmetrical pictures.
For Forest School on Monday, please ensure your child has long trousers, a coat and wellington boots. This is to ensure we are keeping dry and avoiding any stings and bites.
Have a lovely weekend.
